As a student designer at the Memorial Union, I worked with the MU’s head of graphic design and head of marketing to design materials to advertise MU organizations, events, and classes. This job, during my senior year of college, taught me a lot about the in-depth details that go into creating a successful design for a client. From type size and readability to proper layout of information - I absorbed a lot of helpful design tips and tricks.
